Painter Yi Mei focuses on oil painting (alla prima), abstract work, and occasionally explore mixed media on canvas. She enjoys painting en plein air, often capturing landscapes or still life inspired by the peaceful surroundings of her everyday environment, using expressive, impasto brushstrokes.
